White County High School volleyball needed a set to get going Thursday night, but once the Warriorettes found their footing, Smyrna had trouble slowing them down.

White County rallied from an opening-set loss to beat Smyrna 3-1, picking up another district win and completing the regular-season sweep of the Lady Bulldogs.

Smyrna took the first set 25-19, and the second nearly went its way as well. Instead, the Warriorettes battled through a tight finish for a 26-24 win, evening the match and changing the direction of the night.

From there, there wasn't much drama.

White County rolled to a 25-12 win in the third set and was even more dominant in the fourth, closing out the match 25-11.

Alli Beth Stebbing led the attack with 20 kills, giving White County a go-to option at the net throughout the night. She also finished with five aces and two blocks.

Ashlyn Selby added 11 kills, six digs, and two blocks, while Rhaleigh Cloyd directed the offense with 23 assists and added three digs.

The win gave White County its second victory over Smyrna this season. The Warriorettes also won the first meeting, 3-1, on Aug. 20.

Next up, the Warriorettes host Wilson Central on Monday before traveling to LaVergne on Tuesday.
