Each week, the Main Street Journal – Sparta's Sports Calendar brings together a complete lineup of athletic events across White County. Look for key matchups from local high schools, middle schools, as well as competitive youth-league teams. Designed as a one-stop guide for families and fans, this regularly updated schedule makes it easy to follow every game, meet, and matchup happening across the community.

• WCHS Boys Golf Team at the Golf Capital Classic, 9am 

Wednesday, August 5 

• WCHS Girls Golf Team vs Cookeville at Sparta Country Club, 1pm 

Thursday, August 6 

• WCHS Golf Teams vs Warren County at Sparta Country Club, 1pm

Saturday, August 8 

• WCMS Warriorette Soccer Play Day at Dekalb County 
• WCHS Warriorette Volleyball – Clash on the Court at Upperman High School 
• Warrior Youth Football – Pee Wee vs Watertown at Sparta, 4pm 
• Warrior Youth Football – Juniors vs Watertown at Sparta, 5:30pm 
• Warrior Youth Football – Seniors vs Watertown at Sparta, 7pm

Kickball Tournament – This is a fundraiser event to benefit the White County Christmas Hope Chest.
