Friday night added another layer of separation across multiple divisions in the White County Youth Baseball and Softball League, with several tight finishes and a few teams continuing to assert themselves at the top.

In Competitive T-Ball, three games delivered plenty of offense, including the narrowest margin of the night. Tennessee Site Prep edged Sparta Fireworks 14-13 in a back-and-forth contest that came down to the final swings. Foothills kept its strong run going with a 10-3 win over Parker Metal Supply, while The Way Church stayed unbeaten with a 15-7 victory over Warrior Wash.

That division’s top tier is beginning to take shape. Doyle Church of the Nazarene, The Way Church, and Foothills all remain perfect through four games, with Tennessee Site Prep sitting just behind after Friday’s one-run win.

In Coach Pitch Boys play, two teams near the top continued to build momentum. National Guard moved to 4-0 with a 14-4 win over Bradys Printing, matching Thompson Construction’s unbeaten start. Piney Creek Lumber also stayed within striking distance, improving to 4-1 after a 14-10 win over Clean Cut Lawn Care.

The separation is becoming more noticeable in that division, with four teams now sitting at .750 or better through the first stretch of the season.

Minor Boys did not report any scores Friday, leaving Ben Dildine Tru-North alone at the top of the standings with a perfect 4-0 record, followed by Meeks Construction at 3-1.

In Minor Girls action, Reco continued to set the pace with a dominant 12-1 win over Powerhouse Powerwash, remaining unbeaten on the season. Franks is also still perfect, keeping pressure at the top. Elsewhere, Edd Rogers Valley Ford picked up a 12-2 win over Uzin Fusion Metalworks to grab its first victory of the season.
