William Vernon Farless, 55

McMinnville resident and Harvey, Ill. native William Vernon Farless, 55, was born July 23, 1970 and died July 3, 2026 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester.

A roofer with Tim Rigsby Roofing and a faithful member of Martin Chapel Fellowship Church, he was the son of the late William Herbert Farless and Rebecca Sue Bonner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Ann Farless.

Mr. Farless is survived by daughters, Chloe Farless of Viola and Erin Farless; sister, Cheryl (Kevin) Ruehling of Gruetli-Laager; brothers, Scott (Norma) Farless of Altamont and Brian Farless of Spencer; girlfriend, Brandy; nieces and nephews, Roger, Nathaniel, Josh and Matt Farless and Trinity (Derrick) Boston and Hailey Farless; special friends, Tim, Will, Jacob, Scott, Josh, Lee, Mark, Carson "Darrell" and Blade; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in High's Chapel with Eric Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in Fall Creek Cemetery in Gruetli-Laager. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until the time of service at High's.
