A probation and parole search at a Doyle residence this week led to the arrest of a convicted felon after Tennessee Department of Correction officers requested assistance from the White County Sheriff’s Office during the operation.

The search happened May 5 at a home on Disneyland Road where TDOC probation and parole officers were conducting a compliance check. Deputies with the sheriff’s office responded to assist as officers worked through the residence.

By the time the search was over, investigators alleged they had uncovered evidence in multiple rooms of the home that resulted in several criminal charges being filed against George Bryon Thomas Niccum.
