A White County teen accused of leaving the scene after a fatal crash returned to court Friday on an indictment charging him with leaving the scene of an accident knowing death resulted.

Just after 2 a.m. Thursday, a White County woman who feared someone was trying to force their way into her home armed herself and called 911, setting in motion an encounter that ended with felony charges against a Cookeville man. According to warrants filed in White County General Sessions
