Another busy night of youth league action rolled through the White County Recreational Complex on Thursday as three divisions took the field with teams continuing to jockey for position in the standings heading deeper into the spring schedule. Competitive T-Ball saw several teams trying to keep pace near the top of the division, while Coach Pitch Baseball featured a showdown between two of the league’s heavyweights. In Major Boys Baseball, it's a battle for the top after the last remaining undefeated team fell Thursdsy night.

In Competitive T-Ball, Foothills continued its strong season with a 15-10 win over Whites Disposal. The victory kept Foothills firmly in the mix near the top of the standings, improving to 7-1 overall and staying just a half-game behind division leader Doyle Church of the Nazarene. Whites Disposal fell to 4-3-1 despite entering the night among the division’s better offensive teams.

Warrior Wash also picked up a win Thursday, defeating Sparta Fireworks 14-8. Warrior Wash improved to 2-6 on the season, while Sparta Fireworks remained winless at 0-7-1.

The Way Church rounded out the night in Competitive T-Ball with a 13-7 victory over Passons Underground. The Way Church moved to 5-2 on the year and stayed within striking distance of the division leaders. Passons Underground dropped to 3-4-1.

Coach Pitch Baseball featured one of the bigger matchups of the evening as the Price Sluggers knocked off National Guard 16-8. The win pushed Price Sluggers to 8-1 overall and extended their winning streak to seven games. National Guard, which entered the game with just one loss, fell to 6-1 but remains near the top of the standings with several games still left to play.

Thompson Construction survived a close battle with Brady’s Printing, escaping with a 9-8 win Thursday night. Thompson Construction improved to 7-2 and remained just one game behind the division-leading Price Sluggers. Brady’s Printing fell to 2-8.

Major Boys Baseball also saw the division tighten up at the top.

Sonic picked up a 12-2 win over Roberson Fencing, handing Roberson Fencing its first loss of the season and creating a three-way tie for first place. Sonic, Roberson Fencing, and Spar Gas are now all 2-1.

Spar Gas did its part to stay in that top group with an 8-3 win over Ben Lomand. The win moved Spar Gas to 2-1, while Ben Lomand fell to 0-3.

Minor Boys, Minor Girls, and Major Girls divisions did not play Thursday night.
