A January traffic stop that began when a deputy noticed a bag of trash fall from a vehicle ultimately led to an eight-year sentence in White County Criminal Court. The passenger in the vehicle was sentenced Friday by Judge Wesley Bray after pleading guilty to a methamphetamine charge.
