Despite some weather-related anxiety earlier in the day, perfect conditions welcomed the start of the 22nd year of Main Street Live Friday night.

The free summer concert series, presented by Main Street McMinnville, got underway with the T.C. Bryant Band‘s blend of southern rock, country and blues. A large crowd estimated by Main Street McMinnville organizers at approximately 1,000 enthusiastically greeted the start of the concert whose fate seemed in doubt just hours before.

“We are so excited the weather held off for us,” MSM Executive Director Hannah Cowan Jones said of the first Main Street Live under her leadership. “The T.C. Bryant Band is the best way to start the season. It’s great to see they’ve got people out of their seats and dancing.”
“It is perfect weather for a perfect night in historic downtown McMinnville” MSM President Raven Young added.

The concert was broadcast live on Star 107 FM, as will the rest of the Main Street Live season.
The 2026 Main Street Live concert series continues next Friday with Saved by the Music — The Ultimate ’90s Experience. In case of rain, the Park Theater will serve as a backup option.
Main Street Live is sponsored by Main Street Media, Security Federal Savings Bank, Bridgestone, McMinnville Electric System, Law Offices of Galligan & Newman, Warren County, City of McMinnville, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District, Hale & Hines Nursery, Citizens Tri-County Bank and Hoover & Son Insurance.
