If this Saturday's production of "See if you Remember - A Musical Trip Through Time" by Caring Hearts United at the Park Theater leaves you hungry for more musical nostalgia, there is good news.
Shake, Rattle & Roll will bring another dose of music from the '50s and '60s to the Park Theater Friday, Aug. 21. Shake, Rattle & Roll is a Tennessee-based tribute band which takes the audience back to the early days of rock and roll with tributes to music pioneers including Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and more. The young cast dazzles with their musicianship while also exhibiting the stage moves and enthusiasm the legendary performers were known for.
The band has its roots about nine years ago in neighboring Woodbury where the band members met on the set of "Million Dollar Quartet" at the Arts Center of Cannon County. Playing the roles of Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis and Johnny Cash, the four didn't want to stop performing together, and Shake, Rattle & Roll was born.
Tickets start at $25 plus tax in advance or $30 plus tax at the door. They are available at the Park Theater website, the box office at 115 W. Main St. during business hours, by calling (931) 506-2787 or at the door the night of the show.
