Caring Hearts United presents night of nostalgia

The power of music to unlock vivid memories and emotions from the past has been well documented.

The folks at Caring Hearts United will harness that power Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Park Theater with "See if you Remember - A Musical Trip Through Time." The show starts at 7 p.m. and will benefit the non-profit organization which provides assistance for hospice patients and their families in Warren and surrounding counties.

"The show is a fundraiser to assist us with providing care packets to hospice patients," Dianne Sneed of Caring Hearts United said. "We also send out items throughout the year when a nurse notifies us there is a need."

The group has produced several fundraisers at the Park including its popular Hee-Haw shows and 2025's variety show featuring the music of the '60s, '70s and '80s. This year's show expands the window to feature an even wider range of music from the past performed by talented locals.

"We're going back in time through music," Sneed said. "The show spans from 1959 - 2024. There should be something for everyone regardless of their taste in music and I think everyone will enjoy it. Our performers include Jonathan and Shelly Womack and their daughter Chalee, Beth McKeel Harris, Beth Cooper, Nolan Campbell, Daulton Foster, Macy Scott and Lynn Parker. There will be approximately 20 songs interspersed with old commercials people are sure to remember. We enjoy doing it and hope the community enjoys the show. It will be a great date night. Take your date out to eat and come have a fun night with some terrific entertainment."
